Why do we carry Placette Audio Controllers? Because they are the most transparent audio controllers on the market.
Featuring remote control and a rather spartan look, these controllers are designed with the uber expensive but uber quiet Vishay S102 resistors. The characteristic that sets these apart is the extremely low noise generated by the audio signal as it passes through the resistors. All resistors generate noise but these were developed for the military and exhibit a noise floor well below standard resistors. We were so impressed with the performance that we are incorporating the Placette into the upcoming Moscode Preamp.
